The “Start a project” form and email
- What: your name, email address and what you write about your project, plus the service, timeline and budget you choose. The same applies when you email me directly.
- Why: to reply to you and discuss a possible project. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Where it is kept: in this website’s admin area (hosted by Hostinger in the EU) and in my email inbox (Gmail, provided by Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework).
- How long: I delete briefs and the related emails 24 months after our last contact if no project follows. If we work together, I keep what the project needs for as long as it runs, and invoices and accounting records for 8 years, as Hungarian accounting law requires.
- Giving these details is voluntary, but without an email address I can’t reply.
Visitor statistics
This site counts visits with Koko Analytics, which runs on this website’s own server. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, keeps no IP addresses or other personal data, and sends nothing to third parties. It only records anonymous totals, such as how many times a page was viewed and which sites linked here. Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing which pages are read (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Server logs
Like any web server, Hostinger’s servers briefly log technical data such as IP addresses to keep the site secure and running (legitimate interest, GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Your rights
You can ask me which of your data I hold, and ask me to correct, delete or export it, to restrict its use or to stop using it, by emailing prithul0218@gmail.com. I reply within one month. You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11, naih.hu.
