A custom circuit and PCB design I did when I was starting to learn about DC-DC converters, especially synchronous buck/boost converters. I made this board after doing a bunch of test and trials with basic buck and boost converters, trying all sorts of different MOSFETs, inductors, and gate driver chips to get optimal efficiency. This board uses an ESP32 to regulate the voltage and current through a digital feedback loop and drives both synchronous gate drives using the ESP-IDFs Motor Control PWM library with proper deadtime.
